Rain Reign

Rose finds comfort in homonyms. She finds comfort in the dog her dad has brought home for her.

Rose’s rules and obsessions are often too much for her dad. They are often too much for Rose.

This story is about Rose and her sense of justice and bravery.

She is a very brave person at school, at home and when she has to go out on her own and do what is right.

I love that Rose is a realistic autistic protagonist who is also the hero.

This book follows that rule that says when a book has a dog on the cover it is going to be sad, so look out*.

*I know some of you really love books that are sad. This has some serious sad bits.
