I just finished this amazing book today. This book is very original. It follows a girl named Sophie Sophia. She just moved to a new town. She sees the world differently than most kids and is in love with the 80’s because it reminds her of her dad. This book deals with some major issues, from mental illness, divorce and how to be yourself and trust your friends to love you anyway. I highly recommend that you read this book. Also I recommend that you recreate the playlists from the book and listen to them because they are pretty great. Any book that heads chapters with quotes from the Smiths and Love and Rockets has to be great, right? Also she has a Shaman Panda. I sincerely hope Kari writes another book.
