You should read this book because it is an awesome book, and it is about a boy named Alex who lives in a place called Quill. Every 13 year old gets sorted into two categories: the Wanted and the Unwanted. The Unwanteds get sent to the Death Farm and get executed. But Alex does not get executed. He goes to a place called Artime where he learns magic.

My favorite part was when Alex found out about Artime.
