Relocation Update 11/5

The Open Classroom community will remain at the Hawthorne Elementary campus for an additional week. We now anticipate that Wednesday, November 12, will be our last day at Hawthorne. We plan to have an asynchronous learning day for students on Thursday, November 13, and we will resume in-person learning at the Open Classroom building on Friday, November 14.

Open Classroom theatrical performances have featured both licensed plays and original student creations.

Students are encouraged to participate in:

  • directing
  • set design & building
  • costuming
  • make-up
  • lighting & sound
  • advertising & concessions
  • choreography
