Jamie Gill, one of our Pre-K teachers, has been selected for the "Most Valuable Educator Award", chosen from among educators across the entire state for his exceptional influence, dedication, and achievements. This award is sponsored by the Utah Jazz and Instructure Canvas.
This honor not only reflects his commitment to academic excellence, but also the deep care, creativity, and integrity he brings to our learning community every single day.
At Open Classroom, we believe learning is built on relationships, purpose, and community. Jamie embodies those values fully. His impact reaches beyond classroom walls, inspiring students, supporting colleagues, and strengthening our partnership with families.

As part of this recognition, Jamie will receive a $1,000 classroom grant, tickets to the Saturday, February 28th game vs. New Orleans Pelicans, recognition during the game, and a personalized Utah Jazz jersey!
Our school was also gifted a limited number of tickets to the Saturday, February 28th game! Tickets will be given on a first ask-first served basis to your immediate family only (so as many OC families who want to attend can). You will need to have a SeatGeek account where I can transfer the tickets to, that is the only way I can transfer you the tickets.
