Art
The Open Classroom learning community relies heavily on the creativity and dedication of our parents and guardians. The most recent example is the mural "Pando" which debuted at Art Stroll 2026. Painted in our library over several weeks it features the famous Aspen tree grove located in Fishlake National Forest, Sevier County, Utah. Pando is the world's largest tree by weight, land mass, and species and its impressive network of roots reminded our artists of the social connections made in our community. Current and future graduating 8th graders will be invited to sign their names on the mural's elaborate root systems.
Art
Parent co-opers and teachers work together to combine student creativity, art theory, and academic curriculum to build skills.
Classes have access to a well-stocked Art Closet, our very own kiln, and a database of lessons as well as an extensive collection of art resources in our library.
